General Laborer

Job summary

Itape in Chicago is seeking a General Laborer to contribute to our manufacturing operations. You will remove finished products from machines, apply labels, bag and carton items, and place them on skids or in correct locations.

Maintain a clean, safe work area and communicate with operators and supervisors throughout the shift. Preferred candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 2+ Years in a Manufacturing environment / general labor experience preferred.
• Intermediate math skills and English written communication skills necessary.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time required.
• Ability to work in space limited work area on continuous basis.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• General computer knowledge and experience handling paperwork.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role following recommended practices, with an emphasis on safety and injury prevention.
• Inventory experience preferred.
