Job summary

DUCTZ of Richmond is hiring a full-time air duct cleaning technician. No experience necessary as comprehensive training is provided to learn the trade. You will work year-round on site, handling ductwork and HVAC components, with opportunities to advance within a growing national brand.

Responsibilities include cleaning, installing dryer vent and UV-C components, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring high-quality work that meets DUCTZ standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a technical hands-on field is preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a trade through training.

• Clean and restore ductwork and HVAC components, dryer vents, and condenser coils.
• Install dryer vent items, UV-C components, and flexible duct work.
• Manage customer relations and provide quality service.
• Present knowledge and trustworthiness to customers.
• Inspect own work to ensure completeness and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain the company service vehicle and equipment.

We are growing and looking for an individual to fill a full-time position as an air duct cleaning technician. This is year-round, consistent work. No experience necessary; we are willing and want to train you in this trade!

Responsibilities:

• Clean and restore ductwork and HVAC components, dryer vents, and condenser coils
• Install dryer vent items, UV-C components, and flexible duct work
• Manage customer relations and assure quality customer service
• Presents knowledge and trustworthiness to the customer
• Inspect own work at customer locations and ensure that it is complete, thorough, and meets DUCTZ quality standards, and meets or exceeds customer expectations
• Properly use and maintain the DUCTZ service vehicle
• Properly use and maintain all provided supplies and equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a technical hands-on field (experience in the HVAC, restoration, construction, other skilled trades is ideal)
• Have good relationship-building and communication skills
• Be capable of working effectively as part of a team
• Be able to work in high areas or confined spaces
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Drive-in compliance with company vehicle policy
• Must be both bondable and insurable under company insurance
