Job summary

Sletten Construction Company is seeking General Laborers to support construction projects in Wyoming. This entry-level role involves assisting the team with physical work, using hand and power tools, and helping to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Must pass a pre-employment drug test, have own transportation, be 18+, and capable of lifting up to 80 lbs. Training and growth opportunities are available within a 9-location, employee-owned organization.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare sites for construction.
• Move materials from staging area to installation location.
• Clean up site after construction.
• Assist other craft workers as needed and meet production goals as directed by Foreman or Project Manager.
• Produce quality workmanship as per company standards.
• Comply with all safety and personnel policies.

Job description

Sletten Construction is looking for General Laborers to support current construction projects in the state of Wyoming. The General Laborer is responsible for assisting the construction team by performing tasks involving physical labor. Laborers may operate hand and power tools during construction projects. This is an entry level position that is pivotal to completing projects on time and within budget. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing sites for construction
• Assist with moving construction materials from the staging area to the installation location
• Clean-up of site after construction
• Assist other craft workers as neededMust work quickly, productively, and safely without error and consistently meet the production goals as set by the Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager
• Must consistently produce quality workmanship as judged by company standards
• Must comply with all company safety and personnel policies

Qualifications

• Must have own transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Must be over 18
• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 80 lbs
• Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, work at heights, walk/work in rough terrain in order to access equipment, tools, materials, and jobsite in order to complete work
• No experience necessary
• No tools required
• Desire and ability to learn construction trade
