Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior construction or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Capable of safely using listed hand and power tools.
• Dependable, punctual and able to follow directions.
• Work independently or in a team with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities

• Demolish and clean up job sites.
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare work areas by removing trash and debris.
• Dig trenches and assist with grading/site prep.
• Operate basic machinery and power tools.
• Assist carpenters, plumbers, electricians as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Support daily construction activities and keep area organized.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring motivated General Laborers for projects located in or around Butler, PA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $23/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a General Laborer eager to grow and learn in the trades alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to launch your career!

Job Scope:

• Perform demolition and site cleanup duties
• Load and unload tools, equipment, building materials, and supplies
• Prepare and clean up work areas by removing trash, debris, and excess materials
• Dig trenches, backfill holes, and assist with grading and site preparation
• Operate basic machinery and power tools, including drills, saws, and forklifts
• Assist carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other skilled tradesmen as needed
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Support daily construction activities as directed by supervisors
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Must be capable of safely using the following tools:
