Job summary

Peoplelink Staffing is hiring a General Labor for a temporary role in Ashland, VA. The position runs for 6 to 8 weeks with 1st shift 8am–6pm or 2nd shift 6:30pm–4:30am, offering $17/hour or $18/hour plus a $1 differential for weekends. Work includes assembling boxes, applying weights and labels, operating conveyor systems, and maintaining a clean work area.

The plant operates seven days a week, with a four-days-on/four-days-off schedule that will be consecutive but randomized.

Location and Pay

Location: Ashland VA

Pay: 1st Shift $17, $1 shift differential for working Saturday & Sunday

2nd Shift $18, $1 shift differential for working Saturday & Sunday

Duration: 6 - 8 weeks

Shifts: 1st Shift 8am - 6pm

2nd Shift 630pm - 430am

*Plant operates 7 days a week. Everyone will work 4 days on and 4 days off in a row, but it will be randomized what your 4 days are, BUT THEY WILL BE TOGETHER.
