Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Holland, MI seeks a production operator to safely run designated food manufacturing equipment, ensure formulas are accurate, and complete required paperwork.

You'll meet daily production goals, monitor product quality, report safety or maintenance issues promptly, and train teammates in proper equipment operation while following GMPs, CCPs, and QCPs.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED preferred.
• Must read and write English to an 8th grade level.
• Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Detail oriented.
• Team oriented and able to work in a group.
• Able to work in a fast paced, multifaceted environment.
• Capable of working independently.
• Flexible/off shift schedule required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work from heights.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment within a designated area.
• Meet daily production goals and requirements.
• Ensure product quality and adjust equipment as needed.
• Ensure weights and formulas are accurate.
• Complete required paperwork correctly.
• Follow GMPs, CCPs and QCPs at all times.
• Report food safety or maintenance concerns promptly to leads.
• Train and instruct teammates on proper operation of equipment.
• Adhere to safe work practices and rules.
