General Labor - Poultry Cut Up Light Industrial & Manufacturing Middlebury, Indiana Contract to Hire Oct 5, 2026

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is hiring General Labor Associates for a fast-paced production environment. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are dependable, safety-focused, and enjoy hands-on work as part of a team.

Job Summary

As a Cut-Up General Labor Associate, you will assist with cutting, trimming, sorting, and packaging products while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to meeting production goals.
Hours: 6:30am - 5pm Monday - Thursday
Overtime: Up to 2 hours per day + Fridays as needed
Pay: $!8.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and sort products according to quality standards
• Safely operate knives and production equipment
• Assist with bagging, boxing, and packaging finished products
• Assemble boxes and prepare products for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety, quality, and sanitation procedures
• Report equipment, quality, or safety concerns promptly
• Work with team members to meet daily production goals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attendance and dependability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motions
• Lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 80 lbs. with assistance
• Comfortable working in a production environment and cooler temperatures
• Ability to work overtime as needed
