Job summary

Case Farms is seeking a Production Associate to work on the poultry processing line in North Carolina. You will follow operating procedures, maintain quality, and perform duties at multiple stations with PPE.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong attendance, ability to multitask, and the physical demands of standing, lifting light weights, and working in a fast-paced environment on-site.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 18 years of age.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, if applicable.

• Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors, including metal and plastic grating surfaces.
• May be exposed to temperatures between 28 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit, with both ambient and 100% humidity.
• May handle product at temperatures as low as 25°F.
• May be exposed to noise ranges of up to 110 DB.
• Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
• Must handle the weight of 8 to 10 lbs repetitively, occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 70 lbs.
• Exposure to dust, feathers, and chemicals used in the poultry processing facility.
• Ability to work in a stationary position, on feet for the entire shift.
• Ability to work with tools, like scissors, knives, and/or power tools for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to climb steps and to access and egress through the production environment.
