General Labor in Concrete Manufacturing / Pipe Plant Team Member - County Materials (Construction)

We are seeking a Plant Team - Pipe member for our customer, County Materials in St. Louis, MO.

Job Duties:

1. Set up and clean up steel pallets for concrete molds
2. Cut, bend, and place welded wire mesh and steel rebar
3. Prepare forms for filling concrete
4. Clean up and maintain equipment after daily runs
5. Assemble forms & molds for concrete production
6. Perform general facility maintenance and housekeeping
7. Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
8. Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions
9. Other tasks as needed

Work Environment:

• Indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures
• Work near moving machinery and equipment, including electrical hazards
• Work in a noisy environment

Physical Requirements:

• Carrying / Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds frequently
• Carrying / Lifting > 40 Pounds occasionally
• Standing / Walking / Climbing
• Squatting / Crouching / Kneeling / Bending
• Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder

Experience & Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of industry concepts, practices, and procedures preferred
• Good judgment regarding work site unloading and operation
• Ability to perform well as a team
• Self-motivated and flexible to team needs
• Safety-minded when performing tasks
• Willingness to learn and be trained
