Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a General Laborer in Wisconsin. This entry-level role offers hands-on training in manufacturing processes and opportunities to progress into extrusion operating and Process Technician positions.

You will learn production fundamentals, quality, safety, and process operations while supporting a safe, efficient facility on a 12-hour rotating shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) with alternating weekends.

Qualifications

  • No prior manufacturing experience required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
  • Manufacturing, production, or lumber industry experience is a plus.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Must be able to learn and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Safely move, handle, and secure composite lumber products and materials.
  • Stack finished products according to customer specifications and bundle requirements.
  • Label materials accurately by type, size, and quantity.
  • Apply identification tags before and after production processes.
  • Operate and troubleshoot basic equipment, including staple guns and material handling tools.
  • Band, bundle, and secure finished products for shipment.
  • Follow procedures to ensure product quality and customer requirements.
  • Maintain inventory of tags and report discrepancies.
