Job summary

Structis Minnesota is seeking Commercial Construction Floor Underlayment Installers to support gypsum and concrete based products across local sites and occasional nearby-state projects.

Starting wage is $20.00 to $24.00 per hour with overnight travel, weekly pay, year-round work, paid training and certifications, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision, disability, FSA/HSA, life insurance, and a 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• Must know basic hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of reading a tape measure.
• Hard-working and goal-oriented.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to drive own vehicle to local project sites.
• Open to overnight travel to surrounding states.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 80 lbs.
• Construction experience a plus.
• Experience on concrete crew a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the install of gypsum and concrete based products.
• Pour gypcrete into mixer and setup hoses.
• Operate bobcat to move sand.
• Finish poured Gypcrete floor.
• Carry supplies onto site.
• Deliver supplies as needed.
• Assist crew members.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.

Primary Objective:

Our construction laborers support the install of gypsum and concrete based products.

• Breaking open bags of gypcrete and pouring them into a mixer.
• Setting up the hose for pouring and connecting to the mixer.
• Operating a bobcat to move sand into the mixer.
• Finish the poured Gypcrete floor.
• Carrying supplies onto a job site.
• Pick up or deliver supplies as needed.
• Assist other crew members as necessary.
• Use small tools and perform basic equipment repair.
