Davis Manufacturing is seeking a dedicated general labor/driver to join our team in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. This role supports loading/unloading, operating equipment, and driving box trucks for deliveries, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will work Monday to Friday, in person, with opportunities to grow. A valid driver's license and at least a year of warehouse or labor experience are preferred. We offer a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking person to join our team as general labor/driver. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting various operational tasks within our organization. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with loading and unloading materials, operating equipment, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Duties

• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
• Operate box trucks for deliveries and pickups as needed
• Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management
• Follow required processes
• Drive routes for courier services, ensuring timely delivery of goods
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues
• Support assembly tasks as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
• Help to maintain clean sidewalks
• Other duties as required

Experience

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or labor-intensive roles is preferred. (Minimum 1 year)
• Familiarity with commercial driving, including manual transmission vehicles
• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
• Ability to perform route driving for courier services effectivelyStrong physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Valid Driver's License
• High school diploma or GED

Pay: $20.00+ per hour (DOE)
