Job summary

Maker's Pride in Des Plaines, IL is hiring for general labor roles across our manufacturing facilities. No manufacturing experience is required; a strong work ethic and teamwork are valued as we produce a variety of food products.

Responsibilities include inspecting products for quality, supplying production lines, and keeping work areas clean. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have GMP knowledge or the willingness to learn.
• Sufficient math skills.
• Must understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and write in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product for quality and any signs of foreign material contamination.
• Supply production lines as needed.
• Responsible for correct placement of product on line or in containers, boxes, or pallets.
• Maintains works area in a clean and organized manner.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
