Job summary

FXI is seeking a manufacturing associate in Illinois (West Chicago) to wrap, bale, package and assemble parts per customer specs. You will read work orders, apply adhesive, and follow instructions from group leads, while maintaining a clean 5S work area.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for 8 hours, and reading measuring devices. Training will occur on 1st or 2nd shift with a move to 3rd shift after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Able to read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, bale, package, assemble and perform housekeeping tasks as required.
• Read and understand work orders to accurately apply adhesive, assemble and pack fabricated parts per customer specifications.
• Understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions regarding customer specifications.
• Verify conformance to specifications using a tape measure.
• Understand and follow direction from Group Leads.
• Maintain daily 5S in area of responsibility and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
