Job summary

IE Corp. in Kentucky is seeking a hands-on labor assistant to support daily operations. You will assemble, install, disassemble, clean, prepare, repair, refurbish, and help rebuild components as assigned.

1st shift 6a-2:30p and 2nd shift 3p-1:30a provide varied hours; the role requires diligence, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards to maintain production flow and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred plus 1 month related experience.
• Experience with various hand tools.
• Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Time management skills that keep production flowing to meet due dates.
• Must be detailed oriented and committed to producing quality work.
• Must be able to get along with co-workers, supervisors, management, etc.

Responsibilities

• Grind to support fabrication; assemble and install electrical components.
• Forklift experience; safely stage material.
• Prepare equipment to be painted by cleaning, washing used machinery with a pressure washer, masking and taping.
• Disassemble, clean, and repair equipment.
• Disassemble equipment by removing broken parts and replacing with new or refurbished components.
• Dress and clean surfaces; re-tap holes and paint to OEM condition.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
