Job summary

Swanton Welding in Ohio is seeking a General Labor in the Fabrication / Production Support Department – Wauseon Location. You will assist with sandblasting, finishing, painting prep, and support production projects across the shop.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, and able to lift up to 50 lbs, with basic knowledge of hand and power tools and a strong mechanical aptitude. Experience in fabrication, finishing, or industrial work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sandblasting, surface prep, and maintenance of equipment.

• Operate tools and equipment including saws, grinders, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes (after training).
• Support welders and fabricators with material handling and setup.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas following 5S and safety protocols.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement activities.
