Job summary

PalletOne, Inc. in Siler City, NC is hiring General Laborers for our production team. This hands-on role involves safely handling lumber, building bundles, labeling, and preparing materials to meet customer specifications.

We welcome motivated individuals with basic math skills and a willingness to learn. Training is provided, and you’ll join a safety‑minded, team‑oriented environment with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred (not required).
• No prior experience required; manufacturing or lumber experience is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a production environment.
• Willingness to perform physical work throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Move, stack, and secure lumber and materials according to instructions.
• Build finished bundles based on customer requirements and bundle specifications.
• Label and tag materials accurately by type, size, and quantity.
• Apply individual tags before and after treating or production processes.
• Operate hand tools such as staple guns and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Band, bundle, and secure material, including corner protectors and loading sticks.
• Verify correct quantities and labeling before material leaves the work area.
• Maintain accurate inventory of tags and report discrepancies to a supervisor.
• Record production data on production sheets.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist other departments by moving materials and loading/unloading carts.
• Participate in safety meetings, CI activities, and training.
