Job summary

Precisionstaffingusa in Hebron, KY is seeking a Sewer in production to sew finished goods for stock and customer orders. You will handle sewing, cutting, reeving, stenciling, packaging and inspect quality while supporting safety standards and core values.

This role requires ability to read work orders and BOMs, operate sewing and related equipment, and work effectively in a team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Willingness to learn sewing and production processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Participate in safety initiatives, toolbox talks, and safety committee activities.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with work orders.
  • Read and understand bills of materials, routing instructions, and production drawings.
  • Operate or learn sewing machines (1", 2", and 3"), reeving machines, cutting equipment, and stenciling equipment.
  • Meet daily productivity and production goals established by Leads or Supervisors.
  • Ensure customer and stock orders are completed accurately and on time.
  • Communicate production issues and assist with corrective actions and problem-solving.
  • Support company policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Cross-train in other operational departments as needed.
  • Complete daily production documentation and reports.

Sewer – Production Location:HebronDepartment:ProductionReports To:Production SupervisorStatus:Full-Time | Non-Exempt Position Summary The Sewer works within the sewing department to produce finished goods for stock replenishment and customer orders. Responsibilities include sewing, cutting, reeving, stenciling, packaging, and inspecting products to ensure quality and accuracy. Team members are expected to support a positive workplace culture and uphold company safety standards and core values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
