• Load/unload trucks, inspect equipment, and assist with winter snow removal as required.

Our client, an industrial manufacturing environment, is seeking a General Laborer or Materials Handler to join their team in Gwinn, Michigan. As a General Laborer, you will be part of the production and materials support team, helping keep daily operations moving safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring a strong safety mindset, a willingness to work in a fast-paced 24/7 setting, and the ability to lift and handle materials reliably - so you can contribute to operational goals from start to finish.

Job Title: General Labor

Location: Gwinn, MI

Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 per Hour, +$2.00 per Hour Shift Differential for Nights

Shift: Day Shift 7am - 7pm. Night Shift9pm-9am.

What's the Job?

• Support industrial operations by sweeping, vacuuming, and scrubbing plant equipment.
• Assist with raw material and finished product packaging, handling, and transport, including use of mobile equipment such as skid steer, forklift, and loader.
• Help other employees with fabrication or maintenance projects by welding, grinding, and cutting as needed.
• Operate production machinery and assist with operational needs to keep workflow on track.
• Load and unload delivery trucks manually or with equipment; maintain and inspect mobile and process equipment, and perform winter snow shoveling and ice removal/chipping.

What's Needed?

• For Materials Handler level: experience operating and maintaining mobile equipment.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with team members to achieve operational goals in the safest manner.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Comfort working in an industrial setting with physical tasks and changing conditions.
