Job summary

Closets By Design Nashville is seeking a General Laborer to join our production shop. You will operate woodworking machinery, assist with assembly, and learn installation techniques while upholding quality and safety standards.

This role offers Monday to Friday work, no weekends, competitive pay of $18–$19 per hour, paid holidays, health and retirement benefits, and tool/equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in woodworking or cabinet-making preferred (32mm systems).
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated General Laborer to join our growing team. The individual will be a shop assistant with the following responsibilities:

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
• Follow quality and safety standards.
• Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule.
• Understand cut lists for daily jobs.
• Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.

Job Requirements

• Experience in the woodworking or cabinet-making fields preferred (32mm systems)
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus

• Some prior Woodworking experience is preferred but not required.
