Restoration 1 is seeking an experienced Restoration Technician to respond to water, fire, mold, and other property damage emergencies and help restore homes and businesses to pre-loss condition.

This field-based role requires reliability, physical endurance, and a commitment to excellent customer service, with daily travel within and around the Austin area. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $28.00 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in restoration, construction, or related field preferred.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude are essential.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• IICRC WRT/ASD certifications preferred.

• Perform production/restoration process per work order and crew chief instructions.
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle along with clean equipment.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary

Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
