Qualifications

Job Summary

Clean flame cut parts and mark with the appropriate information. Inspect the cut quality and ensure the parts are dimensionally correct. Following all safety protocols.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• None

General Responsibilities

• Remove all slag and sharp edges from cut parts.
• Cut lead in/out off parts.
• Verify dimensions of parts are within customer tolerance.
• Mark appropriate information on parts according to the work order.
• Fill out inspection form and record in ERP system.
• Keep work area clean and clear of tripping hazards.
• Package parts
• Work on repairing burning tables
• Assist in loading rail cars
• Operate cranes as needed
• Remove scale from furnace cars and base
• Profile plates after rolling w/appropriate tools
