**Job Description**

This role involves general kitchen cooking with a delivery element. You will be expected to prep food, cook to specifications, and then package and deliver it to catering sites. The volume can be up to hundreds of guests a day and up to 3 deliveries per day, including breakfast, lunch, and some receptions. Cold prep at the catering site is also required when needed. This is a 32-hour weekly job with hours set based on business needs, with some days early or later, and very few late nights or weekends.

**Job Responsibilities**

  1. Prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
  2. Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
  3. Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
  4. Safely use utensils including knives.
  5. Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
  6. Cook using methods like baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, etc.
  7. Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.
  8. Store food properly following safety policies.
  9. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  10. Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor.
  11. Adhere to safety policies and ensure security of assets.

**Qualifications**

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs with team assistance.
  • Flexible attitude and adaptability to different tasks and settings.
  • Preferred 2 years of kitchen or 3 years catering experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record for driving company vehicle.
  • Ability to work in a professional setting, including client-facing roles and front of house if necessary.

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
