Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) is seeking a General Java Developer to join the Data Services team in Manassas, VA. The role requires strong Java development, Linux/Unix expertise, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. You will work in a full-time capacity on a mid-to-front-end stack, integrating and refining software across the development lifecycle.

General Java Developer (Mid‑to‑Front‑End Stack)
Gromelski and Associates, Inc. (GAI) partners with prime contractors to provide professional services. Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
Role is intended to build up the Data Services team.Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensure software standards are met.
