Job Description

The General Inspector performs repetitive inspection and packing of chain products, utilizing fixed gauges and visual inspections to ensure conformity to specifications.

Essential Duties and Requirements

1. Perform repetitive inspection and packaging of chain products, checking dimensions and surface conditions to meet specifications.
2. Work from orders, specifications, and instructions from supervisors or foremen.
3. Record production data and report to payroll.
4. Inspect pins and perform tasks related to chain assembly, including troubleshooting machine malfunctions.
5. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to work in a team and fast-paced environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
