Job summary

Jobot in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a motivated General Helper to join our manufacturing team. This position learns and operates thread rolling equipment used to produce precision metal components, and the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and mechanically inclined.

The role operates 2pm–10:30pm on-site in a fast-paced production environment, with a focus on quality and safety, including reading blueprints, measuring parts, and maintaining accurate production records.

• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure product compliance.
• Monitor machine performance and report equipment or safety concerns promptly.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow quality management procedures, safety standards, and production requirements.
• Accurately complete production records and manufacturing transactions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain workplace organization standards.

Job Details

We are seeking a motivated General Helper to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for learning and operating thread rolling equipment used to produce precision metal components. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing high-quality parts in a fast-paced production environment.

2pm to 1030pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate thread rolling machines and related production equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators, and microscopes to verify part quality.
