Service Wire Company is seeking a 1st shift Facilities Cleaner in Culloden, WV to support facility operations. Responsibilities include cleaning, painting, distributing supplies, and assisting with maintenance, all while following safety guidelines and using ladders and floor equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and the ability to read and follow instructions. In-person work with regular physical duties is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1 year related experience.
• Ability to use and care for common hand tools.
• Strong basic math and measuring skills.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions.
• Cooperatively works with various departments.
• Regularly stands, bends, and reaches for extended periods.
• Personal protective equipment is required.
• Continuous participation in company safety training.

Responsibilities

• Distribution and racking of supplies and parts to various departments.
• General cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, wiping down equipment.
• Painting fixtures, floor markings, walls, and equipment.
• Seasonal cleaning indoors and outdoors at facilities.
• Complete facilities related projects as assigned by Facilities/Engineering.
• Safely utilize ladders and similar equipment.
• Regularly operate floor sweeper and clean throughout the facility.
• Assist with routine maintenance tasks.

Position Summary

Our Facilities Cleaners support facility operations by performing a wide range of manual tasks to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. This includes distributing supplies, assisting with routine maintenance, and completing general cleaning and painting projects throughout the facility. The role requires safe use of tools, ladders, and floor cleaning equipment, and supports both Facilities and Engineering teams as needed.

Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities

• Occasionally required to move up to 100 pounds by pushing, pulling, or sliding material. Assistance provided as needed.

Shift Schedule and Information

• Must be available to work 6:30am - 3pm.
