Job summary

CT&C Fabrication in Utah seeks a General Helper to assist in fabricating structural or metal products. You will lift and position workpieces, load materials, and help keep the work area clean and safe.

The role requires light to moderate physical effort, ability to read safety rules, and basic math. You may handle scrap removal and assist with routine tasks as needed on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and/or 12 months experience.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Equipment generally used includes but is not limited to overhead cranes, forklifts and hand grinders.
