Job Duties: Diagnose and treat patients for gastroenterology illnesses and disorders. Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and/or referral. Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients, and patients' families concerning treatment and care of patients. Refer cases requiring specialist services but maintain responsibility, ensuring continuity of care. Frequent travel to worksites in the New Orleans area.
