Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dynamic General Foreperson to lead electrical facility maintenance outdoors in Winter Park, FL. You will supervise crews, manage equipment, and ensure safe, efficient work in various outdoor settings.

Responsibilities include hiring and training employees, maintaining records, and investigating incidents. A valid driver’s license is required, with CDL preferred. Company provides gear, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work requirement and willingness to work in field conditions.
• Completion of Electrical Hazard Awareness Program and OSHA training as required.
• Completion of Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving courses upon hire.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: CDL Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement.
• Preferred: line clearance experience or related tree work.
• Preferred: pesticide licenses/certificates as required by state law.
• Preferred: ISA Certified Arborist/Tree Worker/TCIA Tree Care Safety Professional.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage, direct and supervise crew leaders, field personnel and equipment as well as plan and execute assigned work by:
• Organizing and assigning crews and equipment to efficiently perform the required work
• Understand and follow all company policies, procedures, and work rules
• Maintain accurate records of required work
• Oversee the hiring and training of all Davey employees in territory
• Investigate accidents and promptly report to appropriate management

Qualifications

What We’re Seeking:
