Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree; a Master’s degree and prior teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach core subjects in alignment with Quaker values and Friends School teaching paradigm.
• Engage in All-School Professional Days, team/department meetings, and Lower School faculty gatherings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across divisions to advance school initiatives.
• Craft thoughtful lesson plans addressing diverse student needs.
• Promote student well-being and maintain an inviting classroom environment.
• Provide timely progress reports to parents and administrators.
• Supervise students during Lunch, Recess, Early Arrival and Dismissal on a rotating basis.
• Engage in professional development on culturally responsive teaching and equity practices.
