About this role

Assist lead Project Engineers with tasks associated with design, documentation, and/or programming/graphics of building automation systems (BASs). Proactive communication with the project team. Occasional project site visits to help gather information for BAS designs. This role is for Summer 2024.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with design tasks for the completion of building automation systems.
• Assist with documentation of the BAS design (i.e., submittals) and revision control of the resultant documents.
• Assist with site-specific configuration of the WebCTRL system (using SiteBuilder).
• Assist with the programming of control algorithms.
• Assist with the development of graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems (using Eikon and ViewBuilder).
• Assist with final documentation of the building automation system that incorporates all changes made since the issuance of the submittal.
• Clear communication and proactive expectation setting with manager and internal project teams.
• Adherence to safety standards. High regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
• Adherence to ethics standards. Exemplifies the Carrier code of ethics.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• 3.0 or higher GPA
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
