Job summary

University of Alabama in Huntsville seeks a General Engineer for Aviation Systems to support UAS development and integration of aviation components.

You will develop and maintain integration software and hardware, and assist with testing and demonstrations in a demanding aerospace setting. This role requires US citizenship and knowledge of GIS tools, with Part 107 piloting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree - preferably in science, engineering, or business.
• 2 - 4 years of full-time verifiable work experience.
• Ability to develop and integrate software and systems in the accomplishment of Aviation and Aerospace requirements.
• Experience in UAS development, integration and operations.
• Computer Programming Languages for Aviation and Aerospace programs.
• UAS pilot using Part 107.
• Knowledge and use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools.
• U.S. citizenship required.
