Job summary

Rochester Public Schools is seeking a paraeducator to support students under the supervision of the classroom teacher. The role includes assisting with instruction and supervising students during lunch and recess.

Applicants should have 60 college credits or a two-year degree, or complete the Paraeducator Assessments; a high school diploma or GED is required; prior experience with elementary students and strong teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement; 60 college semester credits and/or two-year degree from an accredited college or university. Please include official transcript(s) with application.


• In lieu of college credits or degree, one can complete the Paraeducator Assessments. The passing scores in Minnesota are 65% and70%.
