Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and instruct developmentally appropriate activities meeting California standards and our school's charter
• Assess and monitor student achievement and growth using school tools
• Modify teaching to meet individual needs and develop individualized learning plans
• Collaborate with Inclusion Specialist and Principal as needed
• Review policies and charter and perform other duties as assigned
• Communicate with parents regularly and participate in community events
• Meet professional obligations with deadlines and schedules
• Model professional behavior and ethics with students, families and staff
• Support organizational needs as required

Education

Bachelor’s Degree required

California SB 2042 Teaching Credential

Graduate Degree or National Board Certification desirable

Bilingual (Spanish) desirable

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Work independently and as part of a team

Efficient multi-tasking and time management

Strong commitment to ongoing personal learning

Excellent organization and deadlines
