Radiologic Technologists are responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They perform a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and analyze data needed for diagnosis at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Radiologic Technologists independently perform or assist in radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, preparing, administering, and documenting activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, or institutional policy.
