Job Summary: $15,000 Sign-on bonus for eligible applicants! This posting reflects an opening for a General Diagnostic Radiology Technologist I. We are seeking candidates for that position. Geisinger reserves the right to consider applicants for higher levels of this role, including General Diagnostic Radiology II, based on skills, qualifications, and experience. Schedule: 3p-11p, Monday-Friday, every other weekend, 2nd shift. Part-time and full-time positions are eligible for participation in Geisinger's Imaging Technologist Clinical Ladder program. The ladder level at hire will depend on experience and certifications. Salary is commensurate with experience. Union: Yes

Responsibilities include performing standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating equipment, and maintaining records.

• Perform radiological and fluoroscopic exams with proper patient positioning and exposure techniques.
• Operate all equipment within the modality.
• Set up and adjust immobilization and protective equipment.
• Analyze patient size, age, condition, and suspected pathology for examinations.
• Assist physicians with procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain related records and participate in quality assurance procedures.
• Participate in training of students.

Work is performed in a clinical environment. The role requires compliance with policies and procedures. Additional competencies will be outlined in department-specific orientation.
