Job summary

Commonwealth-Medical-Services is seeking a General Dermatologist to join a privately owned practice serving Medina, Wadsworth and Wooster, Ohio. The physician will deliver general medical dermatology, Mohs surgery and cosmetic services in a high-volume setting.

The role offers strong support staff, including scribes and medical assistants, with a focus on work-life balance and efficient patient care across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of an accredited Dermatology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology.
• Current DEA registration, or ability to obtain one.
• Eligible for credentialing and medical staff privileges.
• Strong clinical knowledge of general medical dermatology.
• Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of dermatologic conditions.
• Ability to treat adult and pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dermatologic care to patients.
• Maintain high level of expertise in dermatologic medicine.
• Complete medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate biopsy and laboratory results to patients promptly.
• Participate in chart review and quality initiatives.
• Educate and supervise advanced practice providers and clinical staff.
• Train and provide guidance to medical support staff.
• Direct support staff to maintain efficient clinical workflow.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings.
• Support practice growth and patient engagement initiatives.
