Job summary

Capitol Smiles in Schenectady is seeking a locum dentist to begin in February with the potential to extend until a permanent provider is hired. This is a full-time assignment with a weekday schedule in a fast-paced outpatient dental clinic.

You will perform general dentistry procedures, support patient flow, and benefit from fast credentialing, licensing support, and travel arrangements.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program.
• Active NY dental license (or ability to obtain with licensing support).
• BLS (preferred).
• General dentistry experience in a clinical setting.
• Clean NPDB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an outpatient dental clinic setting.
• Perform exams, restorations, extractions, and basic treatment planning.
• Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and office staff to support efficient patient flow.
• Support continuity of care and documentation standards.
• Optional duties as applicable.

Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 9-5, Tuesday and Thursday 9-3
