Job summary

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Unrestricted Kansas dental license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Clinical proficiency in general dentistry, including diagnostics, restorative procedures, preventive care, and basic oral surgery.
• Strong patient communication skills and ability to educate patients.
• Commitment to community-oriented care and improving access to dental services in rural areas.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary dental team.
• Experience in nonprofit or community health settings is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and maintain up-to-date infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and restorative procedures.
• Deliver preventive care and minor oral surgery as appropriate.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Manage a diverse patient schedule and uphold infection control standards.
