The Community Dental Center is a non-profit, full service pediatric dental center in Charlottesville, Virginia. We serve patients ages 1-20 years old with Medicaid (FAMIS) or who are uninsured. Also, those over 21 years old on the Medicaid Pregnancy Program are treated at our office. Our dental staff performs a complete array of services, including cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, fillings, crowns, and extractions.

RESPONSIBILTIES
Provide high quality dental care to children from infancy through teenage years
Perform routine dental exams, fillings, extractions, stainless steel crowns, permanent crowns and select endo
Education patients and parents on proper oral hygiene, preventative care and treatment options
Manage dental emergencies and provide comforting environment for young patients
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to insure optimal patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
QUALIFICATIONS
DMD or DDS degree for an accredited dental school
Valid state dental license
Passion for working with children and creating a positive dental experience
Strong communication skills and ability to educate and comfort patients and families
Team player with a positive, friendly attitude
