Florida Dental Association is seeking a licensed general dentist to provide comprehensive care including diagnosis, treatment planning, and routine restorative procedures. The role emphasizes patient education, safety, and collaboration with support staff in a well-equipped practice.

The candidate should hold a DDS or DMD, be licensed or eligible in Florida, and maintain BLS/CPR certification. Residency training is preferred to enhance clinical expertise.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required. Licensure in the practicing state or eligibility upon graduation.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
• Completion of a General Practice Residency (GPR) or AEGE/GED residency preferred.

Responsabilités

• Examine patients and diagnose conditions using exam procedures, x-rays, and tools.
• Perform general dentistry procedures: cleaning, fillings, extractions, and restorations.
• Provide preventive dental services and patient education on oral health hygiene.
• Coordinate laboratory services for the office and ensure proper documentation.
• Adhere to OSHA OSHA/Bloodborne pathogen safety standards and safety protocols.
• Participate in morning huddles and routine office meetings.
• Contribute to all duties permitted under state laws and regulations.
