Diamond Braces in New York is seeking a General Dentist with orthodontic expertise to diagnose malocclusions, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and provide braces and aligners with a patient‑focused approach.

You’ll collaborate with a dental team, maintain accurate records, and stay current with advances in orthodontics. The role is full‑time, travel between offices may be required, and starting pay is $600 per diem, based on experience.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree with orthodontic experience.
• Valid dental license (state-specific).
• Strong diagnostic and treatment planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and Treat Malocclusions: assess and diagnose dental and skeletal alignment to plan correction.
• Provide Orthodontic Treatment: use braces and aligners to treat bite issues and jaw discrepancies.
• Monitor Treatment Progress: regularly evaluate progress and adjust as needed.
• Educate Patients on Oral Health: guide patients and families on maintaining health during treatment.
• Collaborate with the Dental Team: work with assistants, hygienists, and others for coordinated care.
• Maintain Accurate Patient Records: keep detailed treatment notes and regulatory-compliant records.
• Ensure Patient Comfort and Satisfaction: address concerns and provide compassionate care.
• Stay Informed on Orthodontic Advances: continue education and training to uphold high standards.
• Stay Flexible: be ready for additional tasks as needed.
