Job summary

Dcotx partners with an established dental practice along the 281 and 1604 corridor on San Antonio's North side to hire a General Dentist. This permanent, full-time position offers typical practice hours in a patient-focused environment with an existing patient base.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Active U.S. state dental license (TX not required at time of application)
• Current DEA registration
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical general dentistry experience
• Ability to explain complex dental procedures to patients

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic procedures
• Perform examinations, diagnose oral diseases, and develop treatment plans
• Place and restore fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, and root canal therapy
• Place and restore dental implants
• Perform cosmetic procedures such as whitening and veneers
• Diagnose periodontal conditions and interpret X-rays/digital scans
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and stay current with advances in dental technology
