Job summary

42 North Dental in Charlotte, MI is seeking a full-time General Dentist to lead the complete patient experience from exam to treatment. In-house specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics, with a schedule of Monday–Thursday 8AM–5PM and a compensation option of either a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited dental program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
