Job summary

42 North Dental in Charlotte, MI is seeking a full-time General Dentist to lead the patient care from initial exam to delivery of care, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers Monday–Thursday, 8 AM–5 PM, with either a daily guarantee or a percentage of collections up to 36%. Benefits include health and dental insurance, vision, 401K, CE opportunities, LifeMart discounts, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and prevent disease
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain highest quality standards of care and professionalism
• Keep updated with new developments and continuing education
