Job summary

42 North Dental in Charlotte, MI seeks a General Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from initial exam through treatment completion, with in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The position is full-time (Mon–Thu 8AM–5PM) with a guaranteed rate or up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, CE opportunities and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatments.
• Educate patients on oral health options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments through continuing education.

Education
