Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Active Oregon dental license (or eligibility to obtain one) in good standing with the Oregon Board of Dentistry.
• Current DEA registration and CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with debonds or interest in orthodontic support work (new graduates welcome).

Responsibilities

• Perform orthodontic debonds, including bracket and adhesive removal, enamel cleanup and polishing.
• Provide general dentistry services to orthodontic patients, such as exams, restorative care, and treatment as needed.
• Evaluate patients' oral health before, during, and after orthodontic treatment and refer to specialists when appropriate.
• Collaborate with the orthodontist on treatment coordination and case transitions.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and charting.
• Communicate clearly with patients and parents about findings, care, and next steps.
• Support a positive, patient-centered team culture.
