Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist in Saginaw, MI to cover the full patient care experience from exam to treatment plan and delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Position is full-time, 8AM–5PM, 1–3 days/week with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401K, and ongoing CE opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree
