Job summary

42 North Dental in Charlotte, MI seeks a Full-time General Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from exam through delivery of care, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The Dentist will oversee patient education, treatment planning, and records, with a schedule of Monday–Thursday 8 AM–5 PM and a compensation structure offering a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and update treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest quality standards of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
